Blinkered Season One Review: Joseph Robertson

Watch it on nuDia.tv

Blinkered is advertised by it’s creators @comeuppence & @joshuaknight as “The Office” meets “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia“. Now I really dislike The (US) Office, but do like what little I’ve seen of It’s Always Sunny so was apprehensive towards it at first, but I ended up really liking it. Five sections scored out 10 for an overall 100% score here.

Characters/Cast

Blinkered only has a small cast of characters, consisting of Big Al, Brian (frequently called Jimbo on and off set), Dennis (who manages the hapless lot), Kyle Laws (whose character name I can’t recall) and Richard (as seen above)

There is also a great recurring guest character named Billy Lightfoot who is constantly mocked by the rest of the cast and…

Discussion: Jon & Kate Plus 8 Minus Jon

Yeah, we know.  We’re going to post this and throw it under the “No one really cares but everyone can find something to say about it” category.

Jon Gosselin was fired from Jon & Kate Plus 8 this morning when TLC released the following statement:

“The program will continue to capture the incredible lives of the eight Gosselin children and their family but will now include a deeper focus on Kate’s role in the family and her journey as a single mother building the next chapter in her life. TLC will continue its exclusive relationship with Jon Gosselin and he will continue to appear on the show, but on a less regular basis.

Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense…

Sean @ Comic Con: The End

When we last left off, I was on my way back to my uncle’s house at the wee hours of the morning on Saturday. Well, I arrived at his house and got a few hours of sleep and then headed right back, just to get in line for Hall H, for the big Lost panel that day.  So I find a parking spot, call up some people and the plan is for me to get in line and they will eventually find me. So I get in line and it’s not too long. I see numerous people wearing the Dharma jumpsuits and the doctor’s white coats too. You gotta love Comic Con. So slowly, the rest of the crew shows up…

LOST Discussion: What Happened to Locke?/Ep 6.4 Title *Very Minor Spoiler*

If Jack is successful with his plan, what happened to Locke? Is he still DWG [aka Esau, Not-Locke, etc.]? Is he alive? Is he still in a wheelchair? All that aside, what would you like to see happen with his character? Do you think he should come back to “life”?

-Submitted by Carol

Well, Lost fans, what do you think?  We know that this has been discussed a thousand times since May’s season 5 finale, but now that we have the title of Season 6, Episode 4 and it’s rumored to be “Locke-Centric,” it may just change things.

**BELOW THE PICTURE IS THE TITLE OF SEASON 6, EPISODE 4.  It is not, in our opinion, very spoilerish, but if you don’t like knowing anything at…

F-Bomb on SNL: What’s the Big Bleeping Deal? : Matt Triest

On the 35th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, Jenny Slate joined a small group of people including Norm MacDonald and Charlie Rocket who dropped an F-bomb during one of the live broadcasts.  Not only was it her first show, but the sketch (a biker chick talk show) was her first as well.  In the past this may have been ignored, but thanks to Twitter, where “F-bomb” and “SNL” became instant trending topics, it’s hard to forget and even harder to ignore.  With that a lot of people, myself included, speculate that this will be her first and only show (possibly the first SNL one hit wonder) and that SNL will get hit with FCC fines.  However, while I think she may get fired,…

Nuts Nissim’s NFL Predictions Week 3: Debbie Nissim

Well, Week 2 was a most excellent week for predictions. 14-2. First time ever! There were quite a few nail biters that would have dropped my results, but my teams came through for me. Hope I can repeat, but there are a few coin-toss picks, so we’ll see how it goes.

Week 3 picks:

Indianapolis at Arizona
This is one of those hit-or-miss games. Both teams come in with 1-1 records. Colts have Manning, who brought the Colts from behind to win in the fourth quarter or OT for 37th time in Monday night’s 27-23 victory at Miami. That ranks second among active quarterbacks behind Brett Favre’s 39. And the Cardinals have Kurt Warner, who with one more 300-yard passing game would tie…

Why LOST Will Never Win Another Best Drama Emmy (but Should): Tony Shackelford

I love Hollywood.  I could do without the relentless barrage of celebrity drama and gossip, because, quite honestly, I couldn’t care less; but other than that, I appreciate all that Tinsel Town has to offer.  I’m an entertainment whore.  I watch entirely too much TV, and until I started going to my Netflix addiction support group, my queue had 386 films in it.  That being said, one might naturally make the assumption that at 8pm EST last Sunday night, I was sitting in front of the TV, popcorn in hand, ready to watch Dr. Horrible host the Emmy Awards.  The reality is, I didn’t even know they were Sunday night until I saw the promo while watching football.

I’ve given up on…
