Roman Polanski Saga: Hollywood at its Worst: Michael David
I am beyond tired of the excuses and qualifiers that are being thrown around in the Roman Polanski saga. He drugged and anally raped a thirteen-year-old girl. I do not want to hear about the Holocaust, Sharon Tate, or his films. They have nothing to do with his crime. He is a coward who raped a child and evaded the law and is now being helped by other Hollywood scumbags. I do not care why this specific event was chosen for his capture, it does not matter. He is a fugitive and if he were not rich and connected he would never have lasted this long. I have never nor will I ever see a Polanski film. In my eyes doing so gives him the means to further evade justice. As for his supporters I will actively avoid their work as well. Anyone who minimizes the rape of a child does not deserve my money or time. Morals are far more important than two hours of entertainment.

I don’t know that I could have said it any better Michael. It really floors me how folks in Hollywood seem to be ignoring the fact that he pled guilty for the crime (and those charges were reduced from what he was originally charged with) and then fled the country. All they seem to talk about is what a great director he is. I haven’t been following this all that closely but has anybody in Hollywood had the guts to publicly spoken up AGAINST Polanski?

If he had attacked one of the Manson family or something like that I would say just let him be but this was one of the most heinous crimes you can commit he deserves to die in prison.
I totally agree. This guy is a scumbag. I don’t care how good of a director he is, he still raped a child. He needs to pay for what he did. Just because he had a horrible childhood doesn’t mean he has the right to take away someone else’s childhood. If he wasn’t a high profile rich producer he would have been extradited back to the US a long time ago. I hope justice will finally be served.

Roman Polanski is guilty of abusing a minor and he really deservers to be in jail.
Roman Polanski maybe famous but this guy deserves to be in jail because he is guilty in abusing an underage girl.
