Here’s an open discussion for tonight’s episode of Glee, which is titled “Takedown!”
Do you think Sue will wreck lots of havoc now that she’s co-director of the Glee Club? Um, of course she will. Yay, Jane Lynch. Will Terri finally get what’s coming to her? Because that woman just needs to get punched in the fake stomach. Oh and WTF? Are Ken and Emma really going to get married?! That’s just a disaster waiting to happen.
And the Glee-ing starts…now.
Let me be clear. I am for anyone with the money buying whatever they want but there are some obvious conundrums in the Limbaugh deal for both the NFL and Rush himself. First why would Rush join a league run like a socialist society? Shouldn’t each team compete in a free market place? Isn’t forcibly keeping the the contracted salaries down against his free market ideals? No one limits what Rush makes off of his show, nor should they. What I don’t get is how this reconciles with his political ideals. The NFL is anti free market, from the time it squashed, with the help of a ridiculous court decision, the USFL, to the way it shares revenue and caps salaries is…
At 16:42 on October 9th 2009, Ruby Siketa, a girl just 17 years old, passed away. She has been suffering from Leukemia.
Diagnosed at the age of 12, she underwent chemotherapy and eventually a Bone marrow transplant. It seemed she had beaten the disease, and three years went by. Unfortunately for Ruby, she relapsed. Despite the best efforts of her doctors, her family and her own willpower, the disease was just too strong, and she succumbed to it.
A lifelong Harry Potter fan, she died alongside “her family and friends, with her beloved Harry Potter playing”. The love and support of the whole fandom is with her family at this most terrible time. I know not everyone here at yublog is a…
It’s Monday, which in itself earns its a “GFY” in itself, but that also means it’s Monday Night Football.
Tonight’s game is the New York Jets (represent) vs. the Miami Dolphins.
I don’t know Miami fans, but I have a bit of experience in New York fandom and they know how they roll when it comes to their teams.
Let the smack talk begin.
Hello, all. This week’s Lost discussion poses the statement/question:
Faraday knew the exact time Chang would get to the Orchid. How did that info get in his journal ? Discuss!
Submitted by www.twitter.com/803er
So what do you think? Technically, Faraday was already dead by the time Chang got to the Orchid, right? Furthermore, we’d like to add the following: How much do you think that Ellie/Eloise Hawkings really knows? And how much of Faraday’s story does/doesn’t make sense when you think about how prematurely he died? Personally, WE WANT MORE FARADAY in Season 6. His death was, to us, one of the ones that were most tragic because of how much potential was there and how much awesome in the storyline we truly lost out…
Well, I am not really going to “spoil” anything. But do any of you have those friends that do this:
Hey…don’t post anything on Twitter or Facebook about (insert show here), I am DVR’ing it and don’t want to have it ruined.
Sounds good. I won’t post anything on my Twitter or Faceb…wait a second…what?~! I can’t update my Twitter or Facebook because YOU don’t want to be spoiled and have the show ruined? Listen, I am sorry that you are not able to view at the same time as all of us. I know it must just suck. I have shows myself that I feel the same way about.
But guess what…I have a secret for you…I AM NOT GOING TO PUT…
Editor’s note: This post contains spoilers.
This is the third in what I hope will be a continuing series of articles about Fringe focusing upon the relationships between the characters and the long arc underlying the season, with little or no examination of the mystery of the week. Instead these articles will be an analysis of how the main characters change in their behavior and their feelings toward each other and how things that we learn about their pasts change our view of what is going on between them now.
The second episode of the second season, “Night of Desirable Objects,” is especially suited to a character analysis independent of the week’s mystery because its mystery seems to be entirely independent of the…
Baseball playoffs have started and no matter what people say, the Yankees don’t have it wrapped up. So it’s nice to take a break from the drama and concentrate on some pigskin, and I’m not talking that fried pork rind you get in vending machines.
Week 5
Washington at Carolina
Am I really reading this right? Panthers are 0-3? This could be a game between the fumbling quarterbacks. Redskins QB Jason Campbell leads the NFL with seven fumbles and Panthers QB Jake Delhomme leads the league with seven intercetions. They’ve combined for 16 turnovers. Some are saying that Carolina’s DE Julius Peppers is unhappy being where he is, but if the man doesn’t produce, no one else is going to want to pick…
As I write this it is 5:20 am and I have just seen that President Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize. I really do not know what goes into deciding this but it is a good sign that America is once again gaining the respect of the world and with that can hopefully be a leader in peaceful global solutions. I have seen no reactions as of yet but I am sure that the right has already began to spin this as a sign of Obama’s weakness and that he is bending over backwards to be “European”. I do not agree with everything Obama has done on the peace and war fronts, especially his considering escalating Afghanistan, but he has…
