Anyone else get a My Bodyguard vibe from this episode?
I liked the episode. Chuck is starting to get into his own as a spy, even if it comes with a nudge from Shaw. Nice to see Stone Cold, and I liked the “he’s professional wrestler” comment.
I agree with Colleen’s tweet, Kristin Kreuk fit in well. I just hope she doesn’t end up being a Ring agent or something like that as Jill/Jordana was.
The dead guy in the coffin looked like the Crypt Keeper from Tales From the Crypt.
The Ring Operative Serena who was the flight attendant looked familiar. After reading Alan Sepinwall’s episode review, it turns out the actress also played the younger sister on Charles In Charge (not Nicole Eggert).
Overall, I like the episode. And while the Buy More shenanigans weren’t as good as last week’s Fight Club, it was nice to see Morgan & Casey interacting as they seem quite an incongruous team. (Lester sleeps with a stuffed animal. I loved that.)
I think Hannah is a “ring” plant. Seems too much of a coincence that she needs an IT job. Another possibility is that she could be a CIA operative that Shaw put on the plane just in case Chuck needed her.
I liked the Casey and Morgan interaction. But I enjoy Morgan more as a trouble maker than an asst. manager. I love the idea of Casey treating them like “insurgents”.
Funny moments - Morgan in the claw machine and Lester in the feet pajamas, Chuck packing numchucks.
Lester stole every scene and almost without a word…except those that Casey imprinted into his brain. Loved the squeaky toy he slept with too.
Casey had some wonderful grunts this episode. Who knew a grunt could express so many emotions?
Wow! Shaw really recovered quickly from the self inflected gun shot from last week.
And the intersect worked without any glitches too.
i have to say that i laughed out loud when chuck was using his nunchucks as the two ring people were getting trampled by the luggage in the background
Seriously: if Hannah does not turn out to be a member of, possibly even the head of The Ring, I’ll eat my hat.
