We’re back to the present day Island storyline this week in the penultimate Lost episode (at this time next week, it’ll all be over!) titled “What They Died For”. Wow, this is really happening…

Just a heads up - I will be coming straight from my aunt’s wake, which ends at 9pm. It’s 10 minutes from my parents house. Can’t believe how much I hated last week on first watch, but now like, respect and appriciate it. I guess we need to remember, this is THEIR story, and we have to enjoy it, rather than rip it apart. No matter what, we’ll all enjoy this amazing week, as we say goodbye to the best show ever.

It’s been a fun ride. What a life changing show for so many people, self included. I read more books in the last 6 years then I ever have in my entire 30 something years and it’s TOTALLY because of LOST.
It made me smarter-er. =) I will miss you LOST…

You know, re: Jacob from last week - It was an origin story of Jacob and Smoke Monster. To me, every superhero or god was a whiny doubting brat before they became big. Think of Jacob as Luke Skywalker lol

@ Colleen - I so agree with you. I liked it better when he was redeemed. It seems like a lot of people on this show are dying for no reason. Especially Frank - what was the reason for keeping him around all season only to have him die like that? Darn it I want some answers!

OK - SICK devotion. I made my tantruming 4 year old daughter watch the first 15 minutes because she “didn’t want to go to bed.” Because her other mom let her take a nap today.

I’m still for the “it only ends once” theory (although I don’t think anyone else has this theory that I know of). I really don’t think they will find a replacement for Jacob… thus “the end”

I’m wondering if Ben has a real plan here. What’s he going to do with the walkie-talkie? And if he has a plan, is killing Widmore part of it? Or was that just revenge? Revenge, I think. He may have turned a corner in “Dr. Linus” but given the chance to avenge Alex, he had to take it.

Just a tip for everyone while we are on commercial - Jay and Jack are recording their Thursday podcast tomorrow because Jack leaves for LA Thursday morning. If you wanted to call them and have a good chance to get on the show (if you didn’t tonight) then trying tomorrow morning would be a good bet to at least be heard. Jay likes calls under 1 minute - 1:15 the best. Figured I’d give out some tips on the last regular LOST night that you’d get to call in. How strange to say that.
