My attempt at the most crackpot theory.

The finale will be 2.5 hours about Jack’s other tattoos, especially the one on his inner arm that keeps appearing and disappearing. It will be revealed that he went on a backpacking trip to Nepal with Nikki and Paulo and that they were Jacob’s recruiters. On the alternate time line they still spend the entire show doing the conga and dancing to the Birdie Song.

My crackpot theory is that Ben will end up stopping Man in Locke. His story arc is eerily similar to that of Grima Wormtongue in the LOTR book trilogy. Grima was an agent of Saruman and did his bidding, but in the end he killed Saruman. I think Ben will not want to the let Man in Locke destroy the island and will some how sabotage his effort. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.

I was so sad to see Ben take another turn to the dark side tonight. After Ilana gave him the chance to reject MIB’s offer, I was hopping he would have a more noble path to redeem himself at the end.

The bigger disappointment was Richard’s quick and unceremonious death. He should have had some sort of significant conclusion to his character.

Theory 1 — Desmond is the key. Widmore didn’t tell MIL everything. That is the loophole that will get MIL killed at the hands of Ben near the light. Ben will sacrifice himself to remove MIB, ultimately turning him into the new MIB. The End.

@colleen, yea, i remember it, but i didnt connect the two. im still laughing about bens “kidnap me” comment in front of alex. there were a lot of parallels tonight, did you also connect jack giving stitches to kate. like she gave to him.
