It was a night of shockers at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, with Avatar walking away the biggest winner of the night, with Best Picture (Drama) and Best Director for James Cameron.

Robert Downey Jr took home the Best Actor in a Comedy for Sherlock Holmes, in what was one of the happiest surprises of the night for me - if I was a betting man I’d have had money on Daniel Day Lewis - before Jeff Bridges deservingly took Best Actor in a Drama.

In television, Glee, nominated for four awards managed to scrape just one - but it was the biggest: Best Comedy/Musical Television Series, and that was quite enough to put a smile on my face (even if Jane Lynch was COMPLETELY robbed.…
